The way it works:
Emails "campaign" lists are built from a range of sources including any Roles on your site.
This means you can easily build lists to All Members or Only Staff (for example) or any group in the sites DB. |
Once a list is built an email can be sent using a simple "wizard" to take you through the steps required.
Emails can be sent in small batches (so we do not look like dirty rotten spammers) and also can be sent at a defined date and time. |
A received email allows the recipient to opt-out. If they do this they are added to an opt-out list for that email campaign.
Essentially the next time an email run is made on a list any people who have opted out are not sent to.
They are not removed from the list simply set as Opted Out. A user page on your site allows them to opt back in. |
On this page people may also subscribe to any other lists that exist (if you choose).
They can also view previous emails, either only those they have been sent or all, again as you choose. |
