Membership Profile System
Your Members personal information is contained in their Profile. This page can be made up with whatever kinds of fields you need to describe your member and his/her activities or preferences.
The profile page information may be edited by the specific member or by your website administrator. |

The profile system can be considered as two separate parts.
The user pages and those used by you to administer all user profile.
A user is anybody that the database has stored information for.
The minimal set of profile information is {User Name, Password, Email}.
DNN comes with very flexible and well developed versions of both. |
It possible to have different profile pages to cover a range of membership requirements.
For many clients the task is to replicate an existing offline database. This is straightforward and opens up many new possibilities as profile data can be used by other features.
E.G. Choices made by your members from a list of 3 on their profile page may be used to build 3 email lists based on those choices . |
